This Spring 2025, join The Bronx County Historical Society at Poe Park Visitor Center for the inaugural season of its Bronx Solstice Cinema Series, highlighting new and historic films from the cultures that make up The Bronx. This year’s series is in partnership Dominican Film Festival of New York City and Latin Horror and is made possible with the support of Council Oswald Feliz. Films are free to the public and are scheduled at a time most convenient for elder adults.

Esta primavera de 2025, únase a The Bronx County Historical Society en el Centro de Visitantes del Parque Poe para la temporada inaugural de su Serie de Cine del Solsticio del Bronx, que presenta películas nuevas e históricas de las culturas que conforman el Bronx. La serie de este año se realiza en colaboración con el Festival de Cine Dominicano de la NYC y Latin Horror, y es posible gracias al apoyo del Concejo Oswald Feliz. Las películas son gratuitas para el público y se programan en el horario más conveniente para las personas mayores.

The first film on Friday, April 11, at 3pm will be "La Tercera Edad" (The Third Age), directed by Archie López (2023; 90 min.; Spanish with English Subtitles).
